Foxlot

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. The service

Foxlot is an online booking software service (SaaS) operated by Foxdoo Technologies Inc. ("we", "us") for service businesses ("merchants") to offer online booking, reminders and related features to their guests. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts & subscriptions

Merchants must register with accurate information and keep credentials secure. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe and can be cancelled anytime from the dashboard, effective at the end of the current period. Downgrading or cancelling does not delete existing data. The Free plan requires no credit card.

3. Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are solely responsible for their listed services, prices, fulfilment of bookings and any disputes with guests, and must comply with applicable laws (including CASL and PIPEDA).

Merchants must not use custom booking-form fields to collect sensitive personal information, including but not limited to: health conditions or medical history, government ID numbers (e.g. SIN, passport), payment card numbers or credentials, or biometric data. We may remove offending fields or suspend accounts that violate this rule.

4. Payments & deposits

Deposits and no-show fees are collected through the merchant’s own Stripe account (Stripe Connect). Funds flow directly to the merchant; we never hold guest funds. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks are handled by the merchant under their published cancellation policy and Stripe’s rules.

5. Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and data backed up, but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect losses caused by maintenance, third-party outages (Stripe, email/SMS providers, Google) or force majeure.

6. Termination

Merchants may close their account and request data deletion at any time (see Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, including the sensitive-information rule, after notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or punitive damages; our total aggregate liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be announced in the dashboard or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
